Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B and Instagram comedian Jess Hilarious have been in the hot seat for previous behaviors that are viewed as immoral. It is essential to discuss these controversies, how the public has reacted and how the celebrities have responded to the backlash.
According to Newsweek, four Sikh men were booted off a plane because Jess Hilarious was afraid of the way they looked. The public raged over her actions and hastily “canceled” Jess over these allegations. People following the story demanded that Fox remove Jess from the show Rel because this is a bad representation of them.
On a live video, Jess apologized for her behavior and said, “In the understanding the error of my actions, I have to first acknowledge the rooted issues, which means racially profiling a group of individuals based on their appearance and on top of that—publicizing it on a platform where others can be hurt by it and others were hurt from it.”

Following this incident, a three-year-old video surfaced displaying Cardi B admitting that in her stripper days, she drugged and robbed men. On Instagram, Cardi confirmed the authenticity of the video.
“A live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a living,” Cardi wrote. “I never claimed to be perfect or come from a perfect world.”
Cardi B said she is not proud of her past decisions, but she “did what she had to do.”
